INCREDIBLE SHOW!!!
This was one of the most amazing shows we have probably seen. The DJ was decent and Hawthorne Heights ROCKED. We missed the first act so can't really comment on them. I would recommend buying tickets to this to anyone. Mostly because their show seemed more antic than music driven. If I wasn't already a Korn fan, I would be now. We expected some little short, half-assed show for the price of the tickets ($35.00 plus tax) and what we got was absolutely mind-blowing.
There were no "cool" theatrics. No special props or stage set up. No pyrotechnics, just your regular run of the mill lights. He put A LOT of energy into the show and the effect was AWESOME! It was intimate and driven by the real reason anyone was there in the first place, the MUSIC. By the end of the night, the crowd was a liquid wave of bodies caught up in the spell being woven on the stage. Everyone knew the songs and was singing along. It was like watching them as a favorite local band in some little dive bar with a bunch of friends. GREAT VIBE achieved. Just a big black banner that said Korn. They didn't say much to the crowd and one song rolled pretty much right into the next but her first rock show and she had the time of her life as well. It just so happened that we took my daughter with us as a birthday present.
